Ms. Storey’s litigation practice includes medical device, pharmaceutical, general product liability, other complex and catastrophic personal injury, and commercial matters. She also defends professional liability and civil rights matters in state and federal courts, representing physicians, attorneys and public entities. Ms. Storey has contributed to several successful appellate briefs and has argued before the Court of Appeal, First Appellate District. She has extensive experience with preparing and presenting dispositive motions to resolve cases without the need for trial. These motions include summary judgment and summary adjudication motions, anti-SLAPP motions, demurrers and motions to strike.

Ms. Storey is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She advises clients on compliance with privacy-related laws, rules and regulations, drafting and implementing privacy policies and managing incident responses in the event of a data breach, with primary emphasis on medical privacy issues governed by HIPAA and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act.

Ms. Storey was made a member of Phi Beta Kappa before graduating from Indiana University in 1997. She was an Articles Editor for the Santa Clara University School of Law Computer and High Tech Law Journal, and her Comment on ISP liability for cyberstalking was published in 2000.

Ms. Storey is a member of the ethics committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She presented the topic "Ethics of Practicing Law in a Digital World" at the Bar Association of San Francisco on January 9, 2017.
